Three persons are currently in police custody as the Customs Anti Narcotics Unit had tapped into what appears to be a major bogus identification card ring.According to Head of CANU,Ty Montgomery Packers Jersey, James Singh,Jack Ham Steelers Jersey, the operation began to unravel around mid-morning yesterday,Aaron Rodgers Packers Jersey, when a woman was intercepted at the General Post Office Corporation while attempting to post a box to China.This publication was told that the woman was posting the box of cosmetics to an address in China when the box and its content were checked and the prohibited substance was found. It was unearthed at the residence with several passport photographs of various individuals,Irving Fryar Patriots Jersey, one of whom was a drug offender arrested by CANU in 2010.This matter is currently engaging the attention of the Magistrates’ Court. Dozens of other fake identification cards bearing all of the features found on those issued by Guyana’s Election’s Commission were also found.Up to press time yesterday those arrested were still in police custody and investigations are ongoing.Charges are likely to be instituted shortly.
