However, investigations by his parents and the Police have not confirmed this report.Mikey’s mother, Indra Persaud, told Kaieteur News that last October, the day after Diwali, her son left home to go and work at a Mahdia location with a man known as Marcus. Mikey would often call home, sometimes two or three times a week. They learnt that he left the job with Marcus and went to work with someone called “Dougla.”On New Year’s Day, Mikey called home and told his Father that he would be coming home for Easter. He never arrived.Indra said she became worried about her son and called Dougla who told her that Mikey had left the job with him and gone to work at another location which he did not know. When she tried to do so, Marcus’s phone was turned off and she had no news after that.Last Friday the family received information that Mikey had died in the backdam and was buried on Tuesday. Indra said that the man did not pay much attention to the news he had gotten and was unable to give them any other information about her son’s alleged death.The parents and grandmother of seventeen-year-old Mikey Moonadai, aka Bin Laden, are appealing to the Mahdia authorities to try their best to locate him.
