| Donald Calendar, a/k”Dandy”, 24, who police said murdered 32-year-old Vibert Benjamin,Donald Calendar,Cheap Jerseys 2018, a/k”Dandy”early Friday morning during an argument, was on Wednesday remanded to prison until later in January, after he was charged with murder.Calendar appeared at the Anna Regina Magistrates Court. He was not represented.Police are indicating that Calendar stabbed Benjamin about his body several times, after an argument between the two at the victim’s Good Hope residence early Friday morning. Calendar was apparently having an ongoing affair with Benjamin’s wife.Added reports suggested, Calendar was at the time visiting Benjamin’s wife at her home when an intoxicated Benjamin caught Calendar talking to his wife. Calendar has however denied killing Benjamin the police said. A knife was recovered by the police.Meanwhile, Calendar, who himself sustained several cuts about his body, said that Benjamin attempted to stab his wife and he told her to run. He also said he stabbed Benjamin in self- defense.Benjamin was originally from Moruca but was living, at Good-Hope/Supenaam for the past year. He worked with an Essequibo business for over a year. |
