| Detective Shawn Critchlow concluded his portion of evidence,Off White Nike Vapormax Release Date, in the murder trial of Police Constable, Terrence Wallace. Wallace is on trial for the murder of 17-year-old Shaquille Grant.Shaquille GrantGrant was shot and killed on September 11, 2012. Wallace’s trial resumed yesterday before Justice Navindra Singh at the Georgetown High Court, with Detective Critchlow returning to the stand.On his last appearance, the witness recalled taking swab samples from Romell Bollers,Nike Air Max 1 Womens Sale, Nicholas Eastman,Nike Free Run Shoes Clearance, Jamal Henry and Grant – in addition to collecting two spent shells from the crime scene and handing the items over to experts for testing.The witness had explained that the hands of the boys were swabbed to undergo testing for gun powder residue,Nike Air Max 2018 Mens Shoes, but he did not know what happened to the items after.Yesterday, before concluding the testimony, Critchlow told the court that he was still unable to locate the items.However,Nike Air Max Tn Ultra Plus, Superintendent of Police,2018 Nike Air Max 98, Stephen Greaves, told the court that he received several swabs for forensic analysis from the policeman. Detective Greaves said that the samples were tested for traces of gunshot residue but the results were negative.Police Ballistics Expert, Sergeant Eon Jackson, recalled that on September 13, 2012 he collected two white envelopes from Constable Wallace. The envelopes, he said, contained firearms and ammunitions including a. 38 Smith and Wesson revolver and matching rounds. He said that based on his examination, the guns were all in working order and had been recently been fired.Government Pathologist, Dr. Nehaul Singh, also testified yesterday. He told the court that he performed a post mortem examination on the remains of Shaquille Grant. The pathologist said that based on his examination, Grant died as a result of multiple gunshot injuries.The victim, of Lot 110 Caesar Street, Agricola, East Bank Demerara, was fatally shot after ranks on a mobile police patrol swooped down on a group of youths in the community on September 11, 2012.Subsequent to investigations, Tactical Services Unit (TSU) ranks Terrence Wallace, Warren Blue and Jamal Lewis were charged for the murder. The latter two had reportedly evaded the course of justice. Lance Corporal Blue subsequently met his demise during his involvement in a botched robbery attack last December.Police Constable Wallace is currently on trial for the murder at the Georgetown High Court. He is facing Justice Singh and a 12-member mixed jury for the offence. The matter is being prosecuted by State Counsel Judith Gildharie-Murslain and Narissa Leander. Attorney Sonia Parag is providing legal representation to the accused. |
