Military Photo by Sam Shore6Soldiers with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Infiltration) and Fort Campbell officially made welcome the new deputy commanding general for support at an Honor Eagle ceremony held Aug. Colonel Frank W. Tate and his partner, Beverly, were received by Maj. Generation. Gary J. Volesky, the requesting general of the 101st, who was thrilled to have them join the Shouting Eagle team, he said through the ceremony.
"Frank Tate and his wife, Beverly, tend to be exactly the right people at the right time to come to the team," said Volesky. "He's a proven tactical enthusiast who's commanded at all levels . including three combat deployments in order to Iraq and Afghanistan. We're privileged and proud to have all of them on the team and recognize that they will make our team stronger."

Nonetheless, Tate is excited to be part of the 101st workforce and looks forward to his time frame here, including taking on people responsibilities, he said.
