A group of 14 Selkirk College nurses will be travelling to Guatemala with May for a practice encounter. The students will be looking at advancing their understanding of how online community development and health are generally positively linked.

"We are going to do a number of things such as hand care, dental hygiene, and women's overall health including sexual health, we speak about condom use and STD's. We've been trying to learn from them how shut community health is in relation to general health."
The group will also learn about how to address interpersonal issues such as poverty, inequality, splendour, and human rights transgression.
"We're going to communities that are lower income stricken and don't have much for medical facilities," explained Paolone.
