Rashmi Guest House Varanasi Uttar Pradesh Hotel
I remained at the Rashmi Guest House based on the terrific reviews I had read on Getaway Advisor. Needless to say from the moment My partner and i contacted the hotel, I was feeling assured that I had built the right selection for my remain Varanasi. Since I was a female traveling alone to Varanasi, I wanted to be sure that I was staying at a nice enough plus safe place, while still acquiring great access to the Ghats. I was happy upon my arrival for the hotel (thanks to staff member Papu) and discovered the mangagement to be very accommodating and kind. The capability goes out fairly frequently with Varanasi, but the hotel generally turns on a backup generator, so you are rarely without airconditioning, though occasionally you do have to wait awhile. Your accommodation sits right near the primary ghat so you have perfect access to explore the area, which is really great. The place also has a rooftop diner which serves good meal. The cost is more in the middle of to high range to the area with the base locations charging Rupee 1500 ($32 US) plus the rooms with a view Rupee 2000 ($54 US). It is definitley worth it although if you want a nice place all-around all of the action.
My friend and I went to Varanasi on 6 Nine April 2006 and Vibram Brisbane Store spent the nights at the Rashmi Guest House the whole time. The best place was so clean, the view is best. We love the roof top eatery with its paranomic view and a dining area style kitchen that you can actually see what goes in your food. However, I think that our stay was made most memorable because of the people there Mr. Ramesh, the time manager, who was so useful with our trip planning and also who got into a real critical mode when told the fact that Varanasi electricity was down again; Mr. Pandora Charms Australia Sydney Puppa, the drummer cum common assistant, who helped united states with all the transportation in and around area; Manosh, our autorickshaw man, who nearly gave us a heart attack regarding his "it's safe" driving, and best of all, the particular locals in the small streets leading to the Rashmi, who welcomed us with their Vibram Kso Sydney smiles as well as "Namaste" everyday, not to mention the uncles offering fruits in the market and wonderful samosas and so on in these small lanes.
