A woman accused of having illegal drugs in her possession, appeared yesterday before Magistrate Hazel Octave Hamilton at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, and was remanded to prison until October 24. She denied the allegation against her.The charge against Joan Munroe states that on August 10, at Charlestown,Cheap Nike NFL Jerseys, she had in her possession 2,973 grams of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.The court was told that ranks from the police narcotics branch had the defendant’s home under surveillance for several weeks. On the day in question, at about 17:30 hours, the ranks conducted a search at Munroe’s home, located at Lot 31 Broad Street, Charlestown, and discovered the illicit substance.The accused was represented by Attorney at Law Adrian Thompson, who made an unsuccessful application for his client to be granted bail.The prosecution objected to bail and requested that the accused be remanded to prison. Bail was denied.
