According to AFC Councilor Harry Narine Deokinanan who also uses the road to access his home and his farmland, numerous reports had been made to the Regional Chairman pertaining to the road but to no avail.He said that for the past three months he had been highlighting the immediate need to repair the road which is used by the almost 800 residents living in the area. He said that the Chairman would however dismiss the matter or put it off.Deokinanan said that the residents, fed up with the condition of the road, decided to protest the matter in a bid to get it repaired. The AFC Councilor said at yesterday’s meeting that he highlighted the matter and was told that the Region needed to wait for the budget for funds to be allocated for the road.The Councilor continued that on Tuesday three vehicles, including his own which was transporting persons out of the area,Cheap Jeseys NFL, got damaged due to the deplorable state of the road. In one case, he said, the front wheel of a vehicle fell off after the vehicles ball joint got damaged.
