I have had two ordeals with this over rated put. The first was when this grand mother came to pay a visit to for my birthday. Being from E. Pete, and the fact that I had always wanted to try out Pepin, we decided to go there. Large mistake! I can honestly express (and they did nothing service a good idea to anger me) that this is considered the most disappointing and over rated bistro I have EVER visited. You are best going to Mc Donalds. The lemonade I ordered was certainly crystal light powdered lemonade. Ugh! When I was in senior high school, I worked at the local mall at Steak Escape. Perhaps there at the mall, many of us made authentic lemonade daily, from fresh lemons. Not here! It was awful. Nevertheless worse, it was obvious that people all were eating dry, nasty leftovers from most likely Nike Roshe Run Black Melbourne the previous day, or times. It was AWEFUL! Dry, flavorless, and the foodstuff just looked OLD. Such as, cooked a day or two before and warmed up in the microwave. I could not believe how horrible the food was, and the fact that these people tried to pass off definitely pre cooked leftovers. Unpleasant was not even beginning to summarize the quality of the food. My secondly experience with this dump appeared to be when a group I was handling catered from them for lunch (very much to my dismay). Contour fact that they did not provide carpet, plates, napkins, condiments, etc, your food was again of the same affordable lowest possible Buy Roshe Run Australia quality. Cheapest materials, mostly rice and very minor chicken, and powdered tea. This restaurant is a waste to whatever legacy they hold onto. They use the cheapest elements possible, pile on the taking away the meat, etc, and you should not hesitate to cut corners plus serve you something cooked day time(s) before, warmed within a microwave! I called so that you can complain (which Nike Blazer Mid honestly I dispise doing) but it was frankly THAT BAD. Fast food provides a more rewarding experience as compared with this over priced over rated dump. I would NEVER again take into account eating anything from Pepin, and will do just about anything I can to persuade anyone by wasting there time and money. To the record, the service had been ok, and I do not have any bad feelings with regards to the place. But never the less, I fully feel that if you are paying for food, especially from a well known restaurant, don't be paying for the cheapest materials and leftovers. There food is truly garbage and the chef's should be fired. This place need to be on the tv show nightmares significantly! Don waste your time or even money.
This is our favorite bistro my husband and I eat here for every last special occasion and sometimes just because. One of the best is the pasta with Romesco Marinade. Where else can you have Romesco Sauce? I never seen this anywhere else. My husband likes exactly what he calls in a carrier I forget what they consider it on the menu, Nike Air Max 2014 Black but it is fish cooked in parchment and is merely great. We have tried almost all the appetizers (tapas) and they are all delectable. I kind of don just like the salad, because it a little too vinegary for my taste. DO NOT MISS the custard with a crunchy crust regarding caramel on top! Yum! Writing this review is making me greedy!In short we been taking in here for years, and have never had a bad meal. We often found the service acceptable sometimes really outstanding, and quite often just adequate but in no way lacking.
Pros: Tapas, desserts, plenty of flavor in the entrees
Negatives: Price is a little steep, although okay for special occasions.
All of us ordered the yellow grain chicken and the pork process dinners. The chicken appeared to be dry, the rice appeared to be googy with hard pieces as well as both meals were particularly flavorless. When I told the waiter the chicken was dry up she apologized and questioned if I wanted her hand strikes the meal up to take with me at night. It surprised me they would offer to do such a thing once i complained about the meal. I ended in place exchanging the meal for a prepared potato. Needless to say I still left hungry. The waitress demands a class on customer service. I expected to pay for the bake spud but not for the salad in which came with the chicken dinner that I returned.
