In a statement Thursday mid-day, UC football coach Tommy Fake Ray Bans Tuberville said:
"Over this weekend, four members of the University of Cincinnati football software were involved in an unfortunate occurrence that Polo Ralph Lauren Vancouver resulted in one arrest and three citations. "Alex Thomas was arrested by the Cincinnati Police Department and charged with obstruction after running from your scene. In accordance with my team rules, he will not be qualified to participate in a game until the legal matter is completely solved. He has a preliminary court time on Oct. 14 consequently he will miss at least four video games and possibly more."
The cops responded to the party soon after reports of shots being fired.
"Three other players, Ey'Shawn McClain, Leviticus Payne and also Hosey Williams, were cited for small misdemeanors and they have been disciplined for their involvement in the incident. They remain on our active roster.In .
Thomas is a freshman cornerback; McClain is usually a sophomore linebacker; Payne is a junior cornerback; Williams is a person running back.
Williams was reported for disorderly conduct though intoxicated; McClain and Payne were recited about failing to resolve previous medical marijuana charges.
Tuberville did not say just how the three were disciplined.
"This style of behavior is not acceptable and never indicative of the UC football method. Moving forward, we will continue to inform our players on making good decisions and currently being great representatives of the University," Tuberville said.
UC plays Ohio at Paul Brown Stadium on Saturday.
