One hundred and forty-eight Primary School teachers are now equipped with essential music skills having completed a four-week training programme initiated by the Ministry of Education.According to information disseminated by the Ministry yesterday,wholesale jerseys, the training sessions started on July 13 and concluded on Friday, August 7.Over that period, teachers attended classes held at the Theatre Guild. They were exposed to sessions in silence and sound, major scales, hand classification, voice production and music curriculum planning.At the closing ceremony, an auditorium filled with teachers performing musical renditions, including the National Anthem, which was played with flutes.In her remarks, Administrator of Allied Arts and Coordinator of the workshop Desiree Ogle noted that the arts are essential to childhood development and music is one technique which teachers can use to gainfully engage their students in the classroom.Ms. Ogle thanked the teachers for staying the course and completing the four weeks of training.
