The police are investigating an accident which occurred early yesterday at Annai, Region Nine, and claimed the lives of three persons. The accident occurred around 08:15 hrs.Dead are David Williams and his wife Belinda of Annai and Henry George of North Rupununi.David Williams was the rider of the motorcycle, towing his wife, while George was reportedly walking along the roadway when the accident occurred.It is still not clear what caused the accident,China Soccer Jerseys, but this newspaper was informed that the husband and wife were heading to a wholesale outlet when they crashed head-on with a vehicle approaching from the opposite direction.The crash took place near an area called Rock View Junction and the couple were reportedly hurled from their motorcycle and died instantly.No one could say for sure how George was killed, but it is widely believed that he was proceeding to his farm on foot and was walking in the corner of the public road when the vehicle also hit him.The sound of the crash sent residents scurrying to the area only to find the Williams’ bodies sprawled on the roadway.A further check revealed George, who was still alive, lying at the side of the road. Efforts by a medivac team were made to save his life by having him transported by air to the nearest health facility, but his (George’s) injuries were so severe that he succumbed before he could leave the area.
