Physician Martin McShane, NHS England's Director for Long Time period Conditions said: said: "This is usually a flagship conference which is key to driving forward our desire to empower patients and carers.

We need to understand that they are authorities in their own right
"The Future of Health is all about making the health and treatment system better for people with long run conditions. We're focussing within the things that people tell National health service England they want: to be in control of their care and support as they are able.
