Our cat is eight years old and is suddenly shedding off fine dark particles involving some substance I can't detect. There's tons of it. Have no idea where it's coming from she's an Womens Nike Free 3.0 indoor cat. We have 1 large planter with a single vegetable, and she sniffs the leaves, having said that i don't think she's actually jumping up into the soil. These materials doesn't really look like soil. It truly is both gritty and flaky and dimly lit gray or black. It's on the sofa and in our own Nike Roshe Auckland bedsheets and whereever she park systems herself that day.
We've observed she's cleaning herself fanatically, and I wonder if it's annoying her too. She won't seem to be scratching, so I do not think its fleas. I thought it might be from her litter box, nonetheless we change it out and use differing types. Anyway, it's not coming from your ex paws it's mostly on her back, and comes off when I sweep her. It looks like ash, nonetheless we don't have a fireplace.
My husband's suggestion was that the heaters where by we are, which are square air vents stuck in the wall throughout four places, might be the culprit. Our condo is a transformed apartment, and the contractors would some cosmetic work however didn't take care of underlying issues we've had Cheap Nike Clothing Nz since transferring electrical, plumbing, etc.

It really sounds like flea 'dirt' (dirt becoming a gentle euphemism). Gather a little on a wet paper towel and discover if they stain the papers towel red. If so, you might have fleas. A treatment of Frontline maybe choice will take care of it. (The fact is that, being indoors doesn't always maintain the fleas away. Someone else in the complex might have bugs which have traveled to your pet.)

It's probably flea dirt, which is really flea output and is made mostly out of blood. You can acquire a flea comb just about anywhere puppy products are sold. The clean will scoop up the filth and any fleas hanging around. You will want a small bowl or cup of water with one drop of liquid soap (to break the finish tension, not to foam in place fleas can walk about foam), after each move bring the comb promptly to the cup or container and tap or use your fingers to remove any debris/fur/lifeforms with the Nike Free 5 comb and drop the idea in the water, where fleas will certainly drown. (Keep the comb dried out.)
Pick up some flea preventative through the vet as soon as you can.

Ditto ticks, and they can be hard to see. See her tummy, or region area for them, Hard to view them sometimes. It's easy enough to remove, and they can show up on stringently inside kitties.

Assume lice. Flea medication can be ordered quickly and cheaply off the internet. Visiting the vet's is expensive. You want to buy 2 kinds: Capstar, which can be taken regular until the active flea infestation continues to be eradicated, and Frontline, which is used monthly as a preventative. You should use the flea comb (as identified) until you have determined that the contamination is gone. You must also diligently vacuum all carpets as well as furniture used by kitty. For optimal results, you can drop borax on the surface and leave it for a long time before vacuuming.

This dog had a bad break infestation once. What I considered was orange dust was really hundreds and hundreds of little ticks walking our white carpet.
It's the same fleas.

If it's fleas, please don't buy place treatment at any shop. I did and it almost mortally wounded my cat. I used Gain after (you can buy online) and then she was flea free in under a day.
