The ban was lifted after a court hearing into the matter.Shaw reflected that he and his family suffered immensely during the last six years, during which period he was unable to secure employment in Guyana or overseas because of the publicity on the internet of his dismissal. Prospective employers would in all probability have “Googled” his name and disregarded any application for employment he would have made.“I am happy with the outcome and would like to express my appreciation to the new Board of GuySuCo for agreeing to the settlement.” |
