| Jamal Holder,Bryan Bickell Jersey, 21,Glenn Hall Jersey, of 2498 Ozama Street North Ruimveldt,Denis Savard Jersey, appeared yesterday before Magistrate Judy Latchman at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court where he was charged with Threatening Behaviour.The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge which alleged that on July 29, on Cornhill Street,Artem Anisimov Jersey, he used threatening behaviour towards Jamal Fowler and a resultant breach of peace.Prosecutor Vishnu Hunt told the court that at about 20:30hrs on the date in question,Pierre Turgeon Jersey, the defendant who is a conductor,Scott Gomez Jersey, approached Constable Fowler as he was awaiting transportation at the Route 41 Bus Park.The court heard that as the conductor advanced towards Fowler he said “Yuh outta South now. Yuh deh in town. Ah wan yuh talk up.” Hunt told the court that after uttering those words,Phillip Danault Jersey, the defendant then pulled a chopper from the waist of his pants and started “firing chops” at Fowler.The Constable, in an effort to seek refuge,Michal Rozsival Jersey, ran away and subsequently joined another bus. Fowler then reported the matter which subsequently led to the defendant being arrested and charged.Prosecutor Hunt stated that he had no objections to bail and Magistrate Judy Latchman thereafter placed Holder on $80,Antoine Roussel Jersey,000 bond. He is expected to return to court on October 22. |
