Through an initiative dubbed ‘December cheer’ the non-governmental organization ‘Give Another Chance Foundation’ has commenced spreading tangible educative and festive cheers to four regions valued atChristmas tree fun at Wakenaammillions of dollars.The not for profit organization registered in Guyana, boasts a track record of under the radar benevolent activities for more than seven years.In keeping with the foundation’s goals on Saturday, the GACF hosted its first Christmas tree-lighting ceremony in the Arthurville Primary School Compound on the island of Wakenaam.The goals include improving children’s lives by creating a social movement that delivers effective health, education, nutritional programmes, in addition to giving children an opportunity to realize their own personal achievement,Andrew Franks Dolphins Jersey, weather academically, artistically or within the realms of sports. He also received a cellular phone, compliments of Digicel.A strikingly outstanding, beautifully decorated Christmas tree standing 20 feet tall, formed part of the festive atmosphere through an initiative of Miranda Thakur-Deen, the Founder of GACF and her family. They wanted to ensure residents of Wakenaam enjoy the same sentiments as other Guyanese.At dusk, the switch to light up the tree flipped on by the founder’s children; Javier Deen as well as Abeeda and Arthouro Murrell much to the amusement of the children and elders.
