| As the road fatality numbers continue to mount, yet another motorcycle collision claimed the life of one and left another hospitalized.A Sunday night ride for a married couple ended tragically when Peter Howard, 55, while riding his motorcycle on the Nismes Public Road, West Bank Demerara, with his wife Odessa Howard, 37, as the pillion rider, was struck from behind by a motor car about 19:15hrs.The couple who hails from Canal No.1, W.B.D was rushed to the West Demerara Regional Hospital where Odessa was pronounced dead on arrival and Peter was referred to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC). The driver of the motorcar is in police custody assisting with the investigation.There was another fatal motorcycle accident on the Providence Public Road.
