| The Guyana Sugar Corporation (GuySuCo) yesterday expressed concern at increasing acts of vandalism by those plying the scrap metal trade, and called in the Police to arrest two cane cutters engaged in the act.GuySuCo said that two persons are now in police custody following a sting operation conducted by the security department of the Guyana Sugar Corporation in conjunction with the Guyana Police Force and a scrap metal dealer.At approximately 15:15 hrs Thursday,Cheap Air Max 270, two individuals were intercepted at the Central Navigation Canal Dam in the LBI/Diamond cultivation.The Corporation said the two men are cane harvesters attached to the LBI/Diamond cultivation.
