| As the People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) continues to contest the results of the 2015 elections, the party has indicated that it is yet to determine its position with regard to the new government and Parliament.The PPP/C’s Friday press conference was attended by about 30 party membersThe update came during a press conference at Freedom House yesterday, which saw the attendance of nearly 30 PPP/C candidates.Former President Donald Ramotar said that the party is yet to decide what its approach to the new APNU+AFC coalition government will be. He added that the party was prepared “to struggle to return this country to democracy and the PPP to office”.He said that during the past week, the PPP/C leadership has been meeting with its members and various issues have been discussed. He said too, that the party is working on mobilizing and reaching out to the people and intends to file a petition shortly.“We’re gathering up all evidence and we will file a petition soon. That petition will outline our issues and many more,” he added.Jagdeo said that the party has written several letters to GECOM since the declaration of the results. However, he said, the body is yet to acquiesce to any of the PPP demands.Ramotar said that the party will take its concerns to the international stage and will engage with other countries and international organisations.“We’re going to make this international as well; we want to take this thing to the international level, so that Governments around the world will know that the government of Guyana is not a government that reflects the will of the people in our country,” he said.“We’re going to inform all the governments and international organisations of our position and our attitude as it relates to the government.”PPP/C General Secretary Clement Rohee also said that the party’s discontent has already been registered with a number of diplomatic representatives outside of the ABC countries.He said, too,Kyrie Irving Jersey, that the necessary documentation is being prepared to provide different bodies with “fulsome information,Nike Brooklyn Nets Authentic Jerseys, testimonials, sworn statements, the data and the argumentation so that they can read and digest properly.”Rohee added that the party will be engaging at least 30 international organisations including the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).“We are remaining vigilant; over the next week or two, we’ll discuss our attitude to the new government and our approach to Parliament.
