Review of Camping les Peneyrals
Kept here for 2 weeks July/August with Material in a Comfort 2+ moblie. Good pitch on a terrace, like most, with plenty of shade and space. An exceptionally well run family web page, owners always discreetly in attendance around the bar/reception area checking every little thing running properly, Canvas associates very helpful and knowledgeable without being intrusive. Swimming complex wonderful, heated covered pool in addition to heated outdoor pool good size and depth, correctly heated not just taken the coolness off like many web pages, also unheated outdoor pool, excited toddler pool and very good slides/chute. Area around site very non-urban, did hear some pet dogs barking on farms however, not enough to disturb us. Large Carrefour supermarket/fuel 10 15 moments drive away, shop on-page has usual basic possibilities and not overpriced. Site is seriously popular with Dutch and People from france, not so many British families but the free site operate club for 4 Twelve years is multi lingual along with good for finding/making friends. Would employ this site (and Canvas) once again if holidaying in this area.
Room Tip: Ask for pitch by using shade.
That's not a comment concerning the locals, its about the frisky amphibians living around the lovely lake. You have never heard such bloody boisterous things! They don't keep you wake up, but are incredibly loud with regard to such small beasts. Besides that, we had a fantastic holiday along with Canvas, 2 adults, a couple yr old and 5 year-old staying in a great caravan overlooking stated lake in early June. Weather was mixed, but when it absolutely was hot it was very hot and when it was rubbish, there's the fabulous heated indoor pool, area castles and caves and delightful Sarlat. David and Cathy via Canvas were extremely helpful however , they had little Nike High Heels Online Australia to do, there were such a great time! The pet dogs were noisy so really don't leave your window open in the evening. Camping les Peneyrals is thoroughly recommended.
We visited L'ensemble des Peneryals through Canvas Holidays. Simple to find and reception staff really friendly and providing copious amounts of information of the camping site and local area. Canvas directed us to our mobile home, through the narrow lanes. Most age ranges catered for could apply slides for 5 9 years olds. Broken and loose paviers (due to winter cold weather and owners mean to repair this year) Edges on the pool are rough, and as a consequence you have to be careful when getting in and out. but only within a few years, too many other parts of the world to travel to!
Our second year on Les Peneyrals. Stayed with Eurocamp. Materials reps very helpful too, An incredibly pretty, well run web site with good facilities. Pools terrific, slides fun, plenty of lounge chairswe were late in season though and constantly clean no food sip and therefore no wasps and goes allowed round pool. Share open to late and NO officious human body guards. Fun allowed providing you didn't get VERY boisterous this was very different to other campsites we have vistedMeals varied from night to night at site {dependant on chef] but always good. So many activities to do and friends to make. They all found groups of other teenagers to meet and socialise with which again we have never experienced at larger sites. Which left the adults free to explore the area Nike Air Max 2013 without bored moaning. Recommend La Vielle Auberge and La Borie in St Genies to eat. Found a great taxi service in Salignac only 20 euros each way to St Genies. canoeing at St Eyzies great fun, caves at Proumeysac magical especially going down in the Nike Heels Australia gondola,Domme beautiful, Lascaux caves a must, gardens at Erigynac beautiful, Rocadamour well worth the drive, Sarlat market on Saturday Nike Air Force 1 Price Australia lots to see and do. Would visit again and again. A small site with big facilities and a HUGE welcome.
we have stayed here for the last 4 years, it is a fantastic campsite.
We stayed at the Peneyrals campsite in the summer of 2006, in a bungalow for 4 to 6 persons. (We're a family of four, kids aged 9 and 12 at the time of the stay)The welcome they gave us says it all The first thing is you're led in to the restaurant/bar area where they give you a free drink while you wait for them to get everything ready. For the travellers we are this was very welcome, and we immediately felt at home. After that we were escorted to our bungalow, which was nice, clean and tidy, with enough room for the four of us. (one bedroom with a double bed, one smaller bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom with shower and WC, and the main room with tv, sofa, dining table and a small kitchen)The campsite has lots of facilities for families, like playground, game room, large pool area with slides and many different pools for all age groups. A fast food/take away option is also available, and a mini market for those preferring to prepare their own food. The staff is nice and friendly, and they speak english. When we left, they gave us a bottle of wine with the label of the campsite, as a farewell gift. I would recommend going with a car or on motorcycle, since this is way out in the countryside. But if you're going to Dordogne, I'm sure you know that.
