Thanks to everyone who took part in the George Eliot Hospital Enjoyment Run
Over 140 athletes braved the poor weather forecasts to participate in the first ever George Eliot Healthcare facility NHS Trust 5k Fun Run. Fortunately, despite these prophecies, the weather held and the Confidence raised over 2,Five hundred to purchase valuable equipment for that Trust's Breast Care Unit.
The event was started by Councillor William Copland, Mayor of Nuneaton and Bedworth plus amongst the runners was Marcus Jones, MP for Nuneaton. Leaving on the Trust's training and education centre, runners done one lap of the clinic before doing a circuit of Bermuda Lake and okay the hospital.
The winner in the Babyliss Curling Wand men's race was Namir Batin through Nuneaton. The winner of the womens race was Claire Hune, who was representing Red Roofs GP Surgical procedure in Nuneaton.
The event was preceded by a health fair together with representatives from various well being groups across the county.
Mister Raj Reddy, Clinical Director and brain of Air Jordan 5 Bel Air the Fun Run preparing groups, said: "What a fantastic evening, thank you to everyone who took part and helped to make the celebration such a success.
"So far we've got raised over 2,600 and we expect more into the future in from sponsorship. All the money will help towards the purchase of a whole new 80k ultrasound scanner for the Trust's Busts Care unit.
Kevin McGee, Chief Executive, added: "The support we received as well as money we raised surpass our expectations; we'll undoubtedly be looking at making it an annual Buy Ghd Eclipse Nz function and we hope that up coming year's is bigger and better.Inches

George Eliot Nurses win Nursing Air Jordan 3 Nz Times AwardGeorge Eliot Medical facility received nursing of the Year at the 2014 Nursing Times Accolades in London on 29 July.
