The incident occurred outside a popular Off Licence Liquor Store and Grocery in the same village where Dundas usually works.The injury reportedly severed a vein around the man’s left ankle which caused the wound to bleed profusely.Shop owner Ivan Dipnarine stated that he tried tying the wound with a rag but the blood kept spraying from the wound.Dundas was rushed to the Port Mourant Hospital by a passing Police patrol. He was looked at by a doctor on duty who sutured the wound and sent the man away within 15 minutes,Cheap Air Max 90 Kpu Sale, despite the protestation of his relatives and Dipnarine.The man was sent away and was taken home by the same police vehicle. But within 25 minutes the man stopped moving and responding. His cousin called Dipnarine who hurried over only to find the man not responsive.The police were called and responded promptly and conveyed the man back to the Port Mourant Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival by the same doctor who treated him earlier.A post mortem examination conducted on the body on Monday by Dr. Nehaul Singh gave the cause of death as shock and haemorrhage, blunt trauma to the head and laceration to left ankle.Quintyn will have to return to court on March 31 at the Whim Magistrate’s Court. |
