| A 16 year old boy was among five alleged carjackers, who were accused of stealing a number of cars. However, Jones said that it was the officers who were surprised because when the accused learnt that the police were near, they set fire to one of the vehicles.Moreover, Jones mentioned that they were all arrested and taken to the police station where further investigations were carried out. He said that sufficient evidence was available to charge the defendants.He noted that more charges are likely to be laid against the defendants.
