Le Tour de Yorkshire
Most people learned a lot and it is interesting to listen for your point of view since the ethnic background will be going right through your own town! We did some research of our own and thought it was fascinating that the race follows a big loop around the country, a year it goes clockwise and the next year it is counterclockwise. We also found that the competition is about 2, 200 mile after mile long. Wow!

I shared your Tour de France informational wording and video today by using several classes of students and they loved seeing where the bicyclists would ride. One list of third graders were excited there'd be so many riding in the race. They also liked witnessing the different stores and architectural structures around your towns. The students had a few questions may the weather be like in Come early july? Will it be hot? Are the mountains and mountains really large that they go up? How many cyclists are from the UK? Are any of them from your area? Where is your riders from that come the longest distance?
We just had your horse races (there are Three really big ones) in the us. The first was the Kentucky Derby and then the Preakness. In our area this weekend to get Memorial Day week we have now car racing. Lots of people take a trip here for the Nascar race and stay in campers in addition to tents. Some of us like to visit that.
