| Guyana and Barbados under the 2nd Joint Commission Agreement, yesterday named six beneficiaries of the Hospitality Internship in Barbados.The Government of Guyana, through the Ministry of Tourism and the Private Sector, is collaborating with the Government of Barbados to improve the Tourism sector, namely hospitality,NFL Jerseys Wholesale, in the two countries.The announcement came at a time when the two countries are presently discussing the 3rd Joint Commission Agreement which is slated for October.Present at yesterday’s press briefing were the Director of the Guyana Tourism Authority,NFL Jerseys China, Mr Indranauth Haralsingh, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, Derrick Cummings, General Manager (acting) of the Crane Resort,Wholesale NFL Jerseys, Barbados, Sean Alleyne, President of the Tourism and Hospitality Association of Guyana (THAG), Mr Sean McGrath, Roxanne La Roc of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Senior Immigration Officer of Barbados, Mr Carlisle Murray.The internship has a duration of 12 weeks and will be conducted at the Crane Hotel and Resort in Barbados at the full expense of the Ministry of Tourism and Transport.The Crane Hotel and Resort is located on the famous Crane Beach situated on the Island, it is one of the Caribbean’s first hotels, and was established in 1887 giving it some 128 years of existence.The triple ‘A’ Diamond Hotel is considered the ideal place for the Guyanese Hospitality personnel to be trained since they are well established in relation to hospitality.Zeniobo Eleshia, Demi Chef de Partie of the Pegasus Hotel, Sonia Khan Assistant General Manager of Roraima Inc.,China Jerseys, Marcia Hohenkirk and Josonia Hermonstine of the Herdmanston Lodge, Marcelle Thomas and Belena Grenion of Carnegie School of Home Economics, are the six awardees to benefit from the internship.The programme has been customary for the past six years.
