A therapist and a nurturing mother helped him find out where to put his tongue and what to do with his pearly whites to make sounds. It was a slow process. But once he figured out to communicate, he fell crazy about people in general. That's one of the reasons your dog went into business, he said.
"I wished to have the opportunity to have relationships with folks," he said. "I wanted to be unique."

Over the last seven years, Lindstrom grew this business into a 100 client The idea support company that employs six people. Now he's establishing in Chattanooga.
One daytime, he spotted his new mother preparing to throw away the family's damaged pocket calculator. Thinking of the best way great it would be to have his personal calculator, even if it ended up broken, he grabbed it before she could toss it in the garbage.

"I realize its works better if I'm one to tell people," he explained. "It puts them at ease, and so they talk normally if I break the ice."
Stephen Roland, Lindstrom's brother in law and the company's customer interaction manager, now helps response the phone to speed things down. But Lindstrom still handles the customers can use in person.
"When I came agreeable, we talked about dropping your residential and focusing simply just on business, because homes take a while," Roland said. "But as i saw the relationship he had with one of these people, I realized that the main business is more of a heart thing."
