CLEVELAND (Billboard) Five years after the release of Public Distortion's last studio effort, the veteran punk band will be road testing new content for an album it expectation will come out in 2010.

Wickersham said Social Distortion's current month long tour may be offering fans a look rear with a few songs from the team's definitive 1983 debut effort, "Mommy's Little Monster," along with material from the Mike Ness led outfit's more recent albums.

So is the band feeling irritated now?
"Um, well, there are always stuff you can get angry about, nonetheless it would be a different sort of a anger, a more mature amount of anger," Wickersham said. "We're not 22 year old kids. We will need to write from where we're in. We can't pretend we're teenage punk rockers running the actual streets still, because nobody is. That would be ridiculous."
