| A resident of Heaven Hill,Cal Bears Jerseys, Matthews Ridge, was yesterday remanded to prison for the murder of Peter James,Bruce Smith Bills Throwback Jersey,Murder accused: Leonard Fredrickswhen he appeared in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts. James was stabbed to death last Saturday,Justin Upton Tigers Jersey, at Hell Hill, Matthews Ridge, North West District (NWD).Leonard Fredricks, 23, was not required to plead to the indictable charge and was remanded to prison by Magistrate Fabayo Azore. The Magistrate instructed the accused to return to court on Thursday, before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan.It was reported that around 01:30hrs on December 30,Dennis Byrd Jets Jersey, James was drinking in a shop at Hell Hill,Dave Concepcion Reds Jersey, when another man, believed to be Fredricks stabbed him to the chest and abdomen with two knives. The suspect reportedly told police that he killed James because the latter had struck him with a piece of wood two months ago.Fredricks was represented by Attorney, Dexter Todd. The Attorney told the court that his client has no pending or previous matters.Police Corporal, Simone Payne,Justin Verlander Tigers Jersey, presented the case for the prosecution. The Prosecutor informed the court that the accused and the victim were involved in an argument prior to the incident. She said that on the day in question, Fredricks saw James drinking at a shop and dealt him several stabs about the body with a knife.Payne told the court that the suspect admitted to the crime under caution. |
