| The Inner Wheel Club of Georgetown would be celebrating it’s 25th anniversary of it’s chapter today. The excess books were donated to other libraries and organisations.Many other projects were undertaken including minor repairs to buildings and the supply of lunches. The beneficiaries include home for senior citizens, the Salvation Army Women’s Home and also the Home for the Street Children at Mahaica. The group also donated a ramp at the National Library to facilitate the handicapped. Educational grants and monetary donations to persons seeking medical attention overseas are also available.
